Record #92292:

Fractal dimension and fractional Brownian motion: descriptors of ice keel surface roughness / G.C. Bishop, S.E. Chellis.

Title: Fractal dimension and fractional Brownian motion: descriptors of ice keel surface roughness / G.C. Bishop, S.E. Chellis.
Author(s): Bishop, G. C.
Chellis, S. E.
Date: 1988.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1988.), Vol. 69(44) (1988)
Abstract: Abstract of poster to be presented at AGU Fall Meeting, to be held in San Francisco, 6-11 December 1988. Identified in measured under-ice acoustic profile data. Geometric parameters are determined and used to partition ensemble of features into two subsets: one of keel-like features and other of non-keel-like features. These subsets can be modelled and characterized.
Notes:

Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. Vol. 69(44) :1276 (1988).

Keywords: 551.32 -- Glaciology.
551.326 -- Floating ice.
551.326.3 -- Floating ice, structure and surface features.
E6 -- Glaciology: floating ice.
