Record #92283:

Periodicities and keel spacings in the under-ice draft distribution as recorded by the USS QUEENFISH / Jeffrey R. Key, Alfred S. McLaren.

Title: Periodicities and keel spacings in the under-ice draft distribution as recorded by the USS QUEENFISH / Jeffrey R. Key, Alfred S. McLaren.
Author(s): Key, Jeffrey R.
McLaren, Alfred S.
Date: 1988.
In: Eos : transactions, American Geophysical Union. (1988.), Vol. 69(44) (1988)
Abstract: Abstract of paper to be presented at AGU Fall Meeting, to be held in San Francisco, 6-11 December 1988. Spectral analysis was applied to 2000 km of under-ice thickness data in Canada basin and across North Pole, August 1970. Periodicities in range of 30 to 130 m occurred most commonly, with 500 to 540 m and 800 to 1000 m also common toward North Pole. Spacing distributions of independent keels were also examined.
