Abstract: Describes composition. Lower Cretaceous Tantulus Basin extended from west-central Yukon south-eastward into British Columbia and had, at least, periodical connections to the sea. It formed during deformation of the Whitehorse Trough forearc basin and is classified as an intrasuture embayment basin.
