Record #91729:

Spectral analysis of Canada Basin under-ice draft distribution as recorded by the USS Queenfish, August 1970 / J.R. Kay, Alfred S. McLaren.

Title: Spectral analysis of Canada Basin under-ice draft distribution as recorded by the USS Queenfish, August 1970 / J.R. Kay, Alfred S. McLaren.
Author(s): Kay, J. R.
McLaren, Alfred S.
Date: 1988.
In: Geophysical Research Letters. (1988.), Vol. 15(10) (1988)
Abstract: Analysis of 940 km of thickness data. Periodicities of 50 to 150 m most commonly occurred throughout track, with longer wavelengths found in areas of thicker, more variable ice. While some regional variations could be discerned, unique regional patterns were not apparent, supporting hypothesis that ice characteristics in this region are relatively homogeneous.
