Abstract: Reviews and compares methods and results of individual dated glacial chronologies from 11 study areas in this region, which include varying numbers of glaciers (3 to 100), glacier types (subpolar, cirque, temperate valley, tidewater, surging), and dating methodologies. Glacial fluctuations in Arctic, central interior, and southern maritime Alaska appear to be broadly synchronous.
