Record #91122:

Nearshore Great Lakes ice cover / S.J. Bolsenga.

Title: Nearshore Great Lakes ice cover / S.J. Bolsenga.
Author(s): Bolsenga, S. J.
Date: 1988.
In: Cold Regions Science and Technology. (1988.), Vol. 15(2) (1988)
Abstract: Ten-year database on thickness and stratigraphy of ice at stations located in nearshore zone has been collected and is described. Analysis shows certain features governed by regional weather patterns and by energy budget factors associated with each lake. Local factors tend to exert influence on formation and decay of ice, and year-to-year variability was noted.
