| Abstract: | Collection of articles presenting results of investigations into hydrological features, plankton distribution, krill and mesopelagic fish in Pacific sector of Southern Ocean; includes analysis of current systems, structure of South Polar Front in Ross Sea. Examines seasonal processes in plankton, occurrence of phenological spatial differences. Pays particular attention to waters of Ross and Somov Seas which are adjacent to Antarctic peninsula. |
