Record #88919:

An investigation of woodland snow thermal regime in the Schefferville area, northern Quebec / Daniel T. Desrochers, Hardy B. Granberg.

Title: An investigation of woodland snow thermal regime in the Schefferville area, northern Quebec / Daniel T. Desrochers, Hardy B. Granberg.
Author(s): Desrochers, Daniel T.
Granberg, Hardy B.
Date: 1987.
In: Eastern Snow Conference. Proceedings. (1987.), Vol. 43rd [1986] Annual Meeting (1987)
Abstract: Detailed measurements of temperatures within winter snow cover and melting spring snow cover are discussed briefly. Sampling technique was devised to obtain large number of temperature measurements within 10x10 m study plots. Spatial correlation between forest canopy and snow-ground interface temperatures was noted to be mainly function of variations in snow depth induced by canopy.
