Record #88918:

Variations in net radiation over snow at a boreal forest edge / C. Andrew Nadeau, Hardy B. Granberg.

Title: Variations in net radiation over snow at a boreal forest edge / C. Andrew Nadeau, Hardy B. Granberg.
Author(s): Nadeau, C. Andrew.
Granberg, Hardy B.
Date: 1987.
In: Eastern Snow Conference. Proceedings. (1987.), Vol. 43rd [1986] Annual Meeting (1987)
Abstract: Preliminary analysis of parts of multispectral data set obtained at forest edge near Schefferville, PQ, shows complex temporal and spatial variation in net radiation values. Variations are in part caused by differential shading of radiometers with respect to surface beneath them. Analysis and correction of these errors provides for more accurate evaluation of radiative exchange at snow surface in boreal forests.
