| Abstract: | Presents preliminary results of observations and experiments conducted during austral summer 1985-86 at Lake Hoare, Scott Coast, southern Victoria Land. Also discusses changes in thickness and morphology of lake ice, and proposes conceptual model which relates sand loading on ice surface to observed variations in this ice. |
