Record #88799:
Nitrate variability in South Pole ice sequences and fossil surface effects / Claude M. Laird, Edward J. Zeller, Gisela A.M. Dreschhoff.
Title: | Nitrate variability in South Pole ice sequences and fossil surface effects / Claude M. Laird, Edward J. Zeller, Gisela A.M. Dreschhoff. |
Author(s): | Laird, Claude M. Zeller, Edward J. Dreschhoff, Gisela A. M. |
Date: | 1987. |
In: | Antarctic Journal of the United States. (1987.), Vol. 22(5) (1987) |
Abstract: | Updates main results of detailed study of snow and nitrate deposition patterns near South Pole in 1984-85 field season. Study was undertaken to address problem of spatial versus temporal variability in ice sequence, and, thus, reproducibility of trace impurity profiles as function of depth or time. On-site sample analysis. |
Notes: | Antarctic Journal of the United States. Vol. 22(5) :80-83 (1987). |
