| Abstract: | Shows that oxygen isotope analysis of cores that have been stored for some time (between 1.5 and 4.5 a) shows effect of storage in form of isotopic smoothing. Concludes that cores that have been stored should be sampled for δ¹⁸O immediately in field, preferably in glass bottles. |
