Record #88643:

Climatic influence on the shape of glaciers in northern Sweden, 1878-1986 / Per Holmlund.

Title: Climatic influence on the shape of glaciers in northern Sweden, 1878-1986 / Per Holmlund.
Author(s): Holmlund, Per.
Date: 1987.
In: Stockholms Universitet. Naturgeografiska Institutionen. Forskningsrapport. (1987.), Vol. 65 (1987)
Abstract: Data from Storglaciären show positive mass balance during late 19th century when balance turned negative. Calculations for Mikkaglaciären suggest that this glacier was in non-steady state in late 19th century and that it would have exceeded its Holocene maximum if climate of that period had persisted longer.
