Abstract: Study of families from three villages of Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region, Alaska, demonstrates that relocation to town or city does not necessarily restrict access to traditional foods. Subsistence activities may require more effort or kinship networks may supply village food to town dwellers, often by reciprocal arrangement.
