Abstract: Study carried out at relatively low strain-rates in order to understand upper yield type of response, which is more amenable to simple analysis. Iceberg ice, exhibiting elongated grains and bubbles with oriented fabric, was tested uniaxially at -10°C under closed-loop controlled constant specimen strain-rates with load applied parallel to long axes of grains and, hence, bubbles. Discussion, p. 427-429.
