Abstract: Reviews work on subject since early 1950s. Of remaining seven ice shelves, Ward Hunt Ice Shelf is largest. Mentions incidence of calving since 1959; between 1983 and 1986, about 25 ice islands (tabular icebergs) were sighted along coastal margins of Queen Elizabeth Islands. Discussion, p. 49-51.
