Abstract: Method allows wave-induced motion to be systematically taken into account in impact risk analyses. Gives better representation of broad range of initial conditions relevant to iceberg/structure interactions, particularly those conditions involving relatively small ice masses in heavy seas where mean velocities alone severely underestimate impact hazard.
