| Abstract: | Ice from Beaufort Sea. Test specimens were classified into categories: granular, columnar, or mixture of these. Crystallographic orientation, percent columnar ice, and grain size were then evaluated for granular and/or columnar ice in sample. Test results were interpreted with respect to these parameters. Overall composition of multiyear ridges also considered, based on field sampling. |
