| Abstract: | Description of tight, asymmetrical minor folds in well-bedded sands, loams and clays exposed by thermal abrasion of ice-rich sediments on west coast of Yamal and north coast of Yugorskiy Poluostrov. Folds are commonly underlain by massive bodies of ground ice, and may be product of southward flow of ice within ice sheet sitting on Kara shelf, over unconsolidated sediments which were already frozen.
