Towards a general hypothesis on the formation of drumlins / John Menzies.

Title: Towards a general hypothesis on the formation of drumlins / John Menzies.
Author(s): Menzies, John.
Date: 1987.
Publisher: Rotterdam: A.A. Balkema
In: Drumlin symposium. Proceedings of the Drumlin Symposium/First International Conference on Geomorphology/Manchester/16-18 September 1985. (1987.),
Abstract: Apparent that drumlins may form under various conditions with range of sediments, lithofacies types, and structures incorporated within them. May be of bedform or non-bedform type, depending on local or regional subglacial conditions. This multiform origin requires process of categorization of drumlin forms and further sedimentological investigations.
