Abstract: Of 40 glaciers investigated in A'nyêmaqên mountains, 15 were advancing, two were retreating and remainder were stable. Of 31 in Qilian mountains, 29 were retreating and two advancing. Halong glacier will probably surge during next 10 to 20 years.
