Abstract: Extended abstract of paper presented at International Workshop on Late Cenozoic Paleoenvironment and Geology of the Arctic, held in Norway in April 1987. Describes litho- and biostratigraphy of formation, describing and dating these sediments. Conclusions drawn about glacial history, which is probably Middle Pleistocene, possible Holsteinian interglacial (240 or 330 ka BP)
