| Abstract: | Based on work done 1965-80. Recurrence of forms of atmospheric circulation in Southern Hemisphere gives quite clear picture of distribution according to phases of lunar cycle, which is conveyed particularly strikingly in winter period (April-September); this may have some importance for development of methods of long-term forecasting of periods of predominance of these and other forms of circulation, and also most likely limits of their transformation. |
