Record #88042:

The oxygen-isotope record of glaciation / Alan C. Mix.

Title: The oxygen-isotope record of glaciation / Alan C. Mix.
Author(s): Mix, Alan C.
Date: 1987.
Publisher: Boulder, CO: Geological Society of America
In: North America and adjacent oceans during the last deglaciation. (1987.),
Abstract: Published as part of the Decade of North American Geology (DNAG) Project. Reviews factors that can complicate direct interpretation of ice volume from oceanic δ¹⁸O records. Then summarizes δ¹⁸O data showing that last (isotopic) deglaciation occurred between 14 and 6 ka, with fastest changes occurring in steps centred at 13 and 10 ka.
Notes:

In: North America and adjacent oceans during the last deglaciation / William F. Ruddiman, Herbert E. Wright, Jr, eds.

Keywords: 551.461.8 -- Palaeo-oceanography.
551.337 -- Chronology of the Pleistocene and recent periods.
551.583.3 -- Climatic changes, Quaternary.
E7 -- Glaciology: glacial geology and ice ages.
(*3) -- Arctic regions.
