Abstract: Discusses whether rock glaciers are discrete, one from another, or whether they represent stages in continuum of forms between which no clear distinctions exist, whether less subjective morphometric measures than have been commonly used can classify rock glaciers into types, and whether set of site characteristics of rock glaciers, suggested by causal model, can predict types that lie in particular sites.
