Record #86331:

The Laurentide ice sheet: research problems / John T. Andrews.

Title: The Laurentide ice sheet: research problems / John T. Andrews.
Author(s): Andrews, John T.
Date: 1987.
In: Géographie Physique et Quaternaire. (1987.), Vol. 41(2) (1987)
Abstract: Paper to be presented at Symposium on Inception, Growth and Decay of the Laurentide Ice Sheet, 31 July 1987 at Ottawa, during 12th International Congress of INQUA. Next step should be development of integrated ice-sheet reconstruction that will provide holistic series of predictions about glacial, glaciomarine, and periglacial landforms, sediments and chronologies. This can then serve as basis for guiding field programmes to examine bedforms and sediments associated with ice sheet.
