Record #86067:

Variations of mesoscale and large-scale sea ice morphology in the 1984 marginal ice zone experiment as observed by microwave remote sensing / William J. Campbell, and 9 others.

Title: Variations of mesoscale and large-scale sea ice morphology in the 1984 marginal ice zone experiment as observed by microwave remote sensing / William J. Campbell, and 9 others.
Author(s): Campbell, William J.
Date: 1987.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1987.), Vol. 92(C7) (1987)
Abstract: Passive and active microwave remote sensors on several aircraft and Nimbus-7 scanning multi-channel microwave radiometer acquired synoptic sequential observations, which combined to give comprehensive sequential description of meso- and large-scale variations in ice morphology in Fram Strait during period from 9 June to 16 July 1984. Analyzes data and discusses aspects of atmospheric and ocean forcing involved in determining temporal and spatial variations.
