Роль липидов и алканов в образовании "морского снега"
Title: | Роль липидов и алканов в образовании "морского снега" |
Title, transliterated: | Rolʹ lipidov i alkanov v obrazovanii "morskogo snega" / A.N. Beli︠a︡eva, S.B. Tambiev. |
Translated title: | The role of lipids and alkanes in "sea snow" formation. |
Author(s): | Beli︠a︡eva, A. N. Tambiev, S. B. |
Date: | 1987. |
Language: | Russian. |
In: | Okeanologii︠a︡. (1987.), Vol. 27(1) (1987) |
Abstract: | Lipids and alkanes dissolved in sea water have capacity for hydrophobic binding. Aggregation of alkanes in "sea snow" takes place at expense of high-molecular homologues C₂₅-C₃₅, content of which in aggregates is 1.3-1.8 times higher than in natural suspension. Based on studies carried out in sub-Antarctic and Antarctic waters of Pacific Ocean and in Atlantic Ocean, November 1982 - April 1983. |
Notes: | Okeanologii︠a︡. Vol. 27(1) :69-75 (1987). English summary, p.75. |
Keywords: | 551.464 -- Sea water, chemical properties. C -- Oceanography, hydrography and hydrology. (*80) -- Southern Ocean. (*88) -- South Pacific Ocean. |
