Inter-relations between the Arctic sea ice and the general circulation of the atmosphere (abstract) / Gerd Wendler, Martin O. Jeffries, Y. Nagashima.

Title: Inter-relations between the Arctic sea ice and the general circulation of the atmosphere (abstract) / Gerd Wendler, Martin O. Jeffries, Y. Nagashima.
Author(s): Wendler, Gerd.
Jeffries, Martin O.
Nagashima, Y.
Date: 1987.
In: Annals of Glaciology. (1987.), Vol. 9 (1987)
Abstract: Abstract of paper accepted for but not presented at symposium. Using satellite imagery, statistical survey of relationship was carried out for 25-year period. Found that heavy ice year in Atlantic was associated with light one in Pacific and vice versa.
