A very conductive layer below the permafrost of Seymour and Robertson islands in the eastern Antarctic Peninsula / H.G. Fournier, Arturo E. Corte, J.C. Gasco, C.E. Moyano.

Title: A very conductive layer below the permafrost of Seymour and Robertson islands in the eastern Antarctic Peninsula / H.G. Fournier, Arturo E. Corte, J.C. Gasco, C.E. Moyano.
Author(s): Fournier, H. G.
Corte, Arturo E.

Moyano, C. E.
Date: 1987.
In: Cold Regions Science and Technology. (1987.), Vol. 14(2) (1987)
Abstract: Interpretation of magnetotelluric sounding curves in this region. Curves are analyzed above period of 0.1 s, and account is taken of resistive permafrost layer. Very conductive layer is here composed of, respectively, 27 and 58 Ω⁻¹ for its integrated conductivity, i.a. 16 m at 0.6 Ωm and 17.5 m at 0.3 Ωm, respectively.
