| Abstract: | Abstract of paper to be presented at 1987 Spring Meeting of American Geophysical Union in Baltimore, MD, 18-21 May 1987. Drift of sea ice determined by movement of automated satellite-transmitting weather station north of Barter Island on pack ice in March 1982. Data collected until mid-July and used, together with that obtained from two land stations, to enhance prediction of station drift over that provided by synoptic wind analysis. Results summarized; effect of Brooks Range mountain barrier noted. |
