Title: Study of iceberg scours across the continental shelf and slope off southeast Baffin Island using the Sea MARC I midrange sidescan sonar. Project 760015 / Dan Praeg, Brian MacLean, D.J.W. Piper, Alexander N. Shor.

Date: 1987.
Publisher: Ottawa: Geological Survey of Canada
In: Geological Survey of Canada. Paper. (1987.), Vol. 87-1A (1987)
Abstract: Survey 280 km long, 5 km wide, across water depths of 320 to 2100 m. Variations in abundance, orientation, size and character of scours suggest division of scoured seabed into zones: inner, central and outer shelf and upper continental slope. Maximum depth of scours occurs on latter at about 715 m. Most scours are relict.
