Record #84498:

The finite-element method applied to a time-dependent flowband model / James L. Fastook.

Title: The finite-element method applied to a time-dependent flowband model / James L. Fastook.
Author(s): Fastook, James L.
Date: 1987.
Publisher: Dordrecht: D. Reidel Publishing Co.
In: Dynamics of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet : proceedings of a Workshop held in Utrecht, May 6-8, 1985. (1987.),
Abstract: Modelling exercises presented include examination of steady-state flow within Byrd Glacier and three idealized flowband experiments involving step changes in boundary conditions (50% reduction of ice-hardness parameter, doubling of accumulation, and decoupling of bed near margin which leads to development of ice stream)
Notes:
