| Abstract: | Expedition YMER-80 took place north of Svalbard, receiving information from NOAA weather satellites. Images were good for weather, but too coarse for sea ice. However, multi-spectral processing of NOAA data yielded details about ice. Results of processing such data and LANDSAT images ashore are shown. |
