| Abstract: | Short preliminary report of recent investigation made as part of programme, presented at 2nd International Workshop of programme, held in Cambridge, June 1986. Should not be cited as official publication. Presents 1985-86 results of measurements of 10 m temperatures and surface elevations, as part of study of ice movement, recorded at each of 23 sites covering first 600 km of flowline from grounding line of Rutford Ice Stream towards ice front. Will be extended to ice front in 1986-87 season. |
