| Abstract: | Evaluates NOAA satellite AVHRR images for showing movement and evolution of ice patterns over area of 650 km². Usefulness limited by cloud cover. Also examines series of 125 airborne SAR images for six-month period; these had good resolution and were less affected by weather. Video movie of sequence was prepared. |
