Record #82905:

A numerical study of sea ice and ocean circulation in the Arctic / Albert J. Semtner, Jr.

Title: A numerical study of sea ice and ocean circulation in the Arctic / Albert J. Semtner, Jr.
Author(s): Semtner, Albert J.,
Date: 1986.
Publisher: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia: Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Atlantic Oceanographic Laboratory
In: Proceedings of the Canadian East Coast Workshop on Sea Ice, January 7-9, 1986. (1986.),
Abstract: Investigates oceanography and climate of Arctic using coupled ice-ocean model of Arctic Ocean and Greenland Sea. Describes model and how it is driven. Simulations carried out for 20 year quasi-equilibrium and for two shorter runs, which examine effects of Soviet river diversions and of CO₂-induced increase of atmospheric temperature.
Notes:

In: Proceedings of the Canadian East Coast Workshop on Sea Ice, January 7-9, 1986 / G. Symonds, I.K. Peterson, comps.

Also published in Journal of Physical Oceanography, Vol. 17, No. 8, 1967, p. 1077-1099.
