Record #82322:

Snowmelt simulation models in relation to space and time / Lars Bengtsson.

Title: Snowmelt simulation models in relation to space and time / Lars Bengtsson.
Author(s): Bengtsson, Lars.
Date: 1986.
Publisher: Wallingford, Oxfordshire: International Association of Hydrological Sciences
In: Modelling snowmelt-induced processes. Proceedings of a Symposium held during the 2nd Scientific Assembly of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences at Budapest, Hungary, July 1986. .... (1986.),
Abstract: Discusses resolution in time required for snowmelt computations in order to compute runoff peaks accurately and resolution which can be obtained by different snow models. Effect of time dependence of meltwater input for different forms of runoff is quantified, using analytical approaches as well as conceptual runoff models. Different snow models are chosen for different kinds of river basins.
