Record #82084:

Adfreeze strength of ice to steel pipe piles as a function of temperature / Michael L. Foster.

Title: Adfreeze strength of ice to steel pipe piles as a function of temperature / Michael L. Foster.
Author(s): Foster, Michael L.
Date: 1986.
Publisher: New York: American Society of Civil Engineers
In: Cold Regions Engineering. Proceedings of the Fourth International Conference..., Anchorage, Alaska, February 24-26, 1986. (1986.),
Abstract: Considers adfreeze bond strength of ice in design of pile foundations in permafrost containing ice layers. From test data collected, linear expression is derived that predicts adfreeze strength as function of temperature for high loading rates. Results compared to those obtained by other investigators.
Notes:

In: Cold Regions Engineering. Proceedings of the Fourth International Conference..., Anchorage, Alaska, February 24-26, 1986 / William L. Ryan, ed.
