Record #81859:

A laboratory study of flow in an ice-covered sand bed channel / James L. Wuebben.

Title: A laboratory study of flow in an ice-covered sand bed channel / James L. Wuebben.
Author(s): Wuebben, James L.
Date: 1986.
Publisher: Iowa City, IA: University of Iowa, Institute of Hydraulic Research
In: 8th International Symposium on Ice, Iowa City, August 18-22, 1986. (1986.), Vol. 1.
Abstract: After uniform equilibrium conditions were established for flow of water with free suface, identical runs were repeated with addition of smooth and rough ice covers. Major variables examined included bed-form height, wavelength, Manning's roughness, and sediment discharge. Application to sediment discharge in ice-covered streams.
Notes:

In: 8th International Symposium on Ice, Iowa City, August 18-22, 1986. Vol. 1. / International Association For Hydraulic Research.
