Ice forces due to changes in water level and adfreeze bond strength between sea ice and various materials / H. Saeki, T. Ono, T. Takeuchi, S. Kanie, N. Nakazawa.

Title: Ice forces due to changes in water level and adfreeze bond strength between sea ice and various materials / H. Saeki, T. Ono, T. Takeuchi, S. Kanie, N. Nakazawa.
Author(s): Saeki, H.
Ono, T.
Takeuchi, T.
Kanie, S.
Nakazawa, N.
Date: 1986.
Publisher: New York: American Society of Mechanical Engineers
In: Proceedings of the Fifth International Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering (OMAE) Symposium, presented ... Tokyo, Japan, April 13-18, 1986. Vol. 4. (1986.),
Abstract: In cold regions, changes in water level can induce vertical forces on offshore structures when sea-ice cover-to-structure adfreeze bonding occurs. Summarizes theoretical analyses of vertical ice forces as well as results of experiments which identify parameters required when estimating sea-ice adfreeze bond strength.
