Record #81573:

Cyclic freeze-thaw influence on frost heaving pressures and thermal conductivities of high water content clays / Raymond N. Yong, P. Boonsinsuk, A.P. Tucker.

Title: Cyclic freeze-thaw influence on frost heaving pressures and thermal conductivities of high water content clays / Raymond N. Yong, P. Boonsinsuk, A.P. Tucker.
Author(s): Yong, Raymond N.
Boonsinsuk, P.
Tucker, A. P.
Date: 1986.
Publisher: New York: American Society of Mechanical Engineers
In: Proceedings of the Fifth International Offshore Mechanics and Arctic Engineering (OMAE) Symposium, presented ... Tokyo, Japan, April 13-18, 1986. Vol. 4. (1986.),
Abstract: Results show necessary modification to analytical models for development of proper accord between predicted and measured values of both frost-heaving pressure and thermal conductivities. Number of freeze-thaw cycles after initial exposure to freezing is also important consideration in analysis.
