| Abstract: | Consequences of collision have been analyzed by means of computer program. Study comprised variations of water depth, embankment size and material, floe diameter, thickness and velocity, and ice/soil frictional coefficient. Resulting penetration lengths have been compared with results from simplified model and from previously-published tests and studies. |
