| Abstract: | Landsat digital images are processed by interactive computer program from which information on glacier surface and morphology is obtained. Method uses multi-spectral scanner bands of visible and near infrared spectrum, identifying standard bands 5 and 7 to yield best insight of both total and snow-free glacier surfaces. Method applied to glaciers of Monte Disgrazia, Alpi Retiche. |
