| Abstract: | In connection with problem of towing potentially unstable icebergs to protect offshore drilling operations, possibility is considered of using underwater sonar mapping techniques to determine geometry of iceberg and, hence, its stability. Such a determination is unlikely to be sufficiently accurate except for small icebergs. |
