Record #80279:

Large-scale short-period sea ice atmosphere interaction / Robert F. Cahalan, Long S. Chiu.

Title: Large-scale short-period sea ice atmosphere interaction / Robert F. Cahalan, Long S. Chiu.
Author(s): Cahalan, Robert F.
Chiu, Long S.
Date: 1986.
In: Journal of Geophysical Research. (1986.), Vol. 91(C9) (1986)
Abstract: Changes in microwave brightness temperature measured by electrically scanning microwave radiometer on board Nimbus-5 satellite revealed large-scale sea-ice fluctuations in Antarctic marginal ice zone. Wave numbers and advection speeds suggest rapid response to synoptic scale forcing by atmosphere.
Notes:

Journal of Geophysical Research. Vol. 91(C9) :10, 709-10, 717 (1986).
