Record #80251:

Spatial and temporal variability in forest soil frost development in western Montana / Lynda A. Saul, Donald F. Potts.

Title: Spatial and temporal variability in forest soil frost development in western Montana / Lynda A. Saul, Donald F. Potts.
Author(s): Saul, Lynda A.
Potts, Donald F.
Date: 1986.
Publisher: Spokane, WA: Western Snow Conference
In: Western Snow Conference. Proceedings. (1986.), Vol. 54 (1986)
Abstract: Study designed to compare spatial and temporal development of frost in soil in adjacent clearcut and thinned forest stands, replicated at two levels, in western Montana. Marked inverse relationship found between snow accumulation and frost depth, reflecting influence of forest canopy.
Notes:

Western Snow Conference. Proceedings. Vol. 54 :165-167 (1986).
