| Abstract: | Presents statistical model of snow accumulation and sliding processes for slippery roofs, using field data for winters of 1983-84 and 1984-85 from six prototype shed roofs with varying slopes. Model gave values lower than those that actually occur, especially on 10 and 30° roofs. Other factors discussed. |
