Abstract: Paper presented at W.H. Mathews Symposium: a Celebration, held at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC., Canada, on 10 October 1984. Development of these Holocene fluvial terraces investigated by stratigraphic, morphological, and palaeohydrologic models. Formed in glaciofluvial and glaciolacustrine sediments by Fraser River: degradation alternated with episodes of stability and aggradation.
