Исследование крупномасштабных потоков морских льдов по телевизионным снимкам с искусственных спутников Земли

Title: Исследование крупномасштабных потоков морских льдов по телевизионным снимкам с искусственных спутников Земли
Title, transliterated: Issledovanie krupnomasshtabnykh potokov morskikh lʹdov po televizionnym snimkam s iskusstvennykh sputnikov Zemli / I.D. Karelin.
Translated title: Investigation of large-scale flows of sea ice from television photographs taken by artificial Earth satellites.
Author(s): Karelin, I. D.
Date: 1985.
Language: Russian.
In: Problemy Arktiki i Antarktiki. (1985.), Vol. 60 (1985)
Abstract: Distribution of lineaments (ordered, extended zones of reduced concentration, fractures, chains of extended leads, narrow zones of increased fragmentation) in ice cover 1979-82 is analysed from satellite television photographs. Large-scale flows of ice in Arctic basin can be distinguished from distribution of systems of lineaments. It is shown that systems of lineaments with distinguishing features form according to different characteristics of drift flow of ice. Translation in Problems of the Arctic and the Antarctic, 1989, Vol.60, p.115-124.
